Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pioneering the massively amplified, distorted riffage of early American heavy metal, Mountain's official debut is a colossal, beautifully crushing hard rock milestone. 'Climbing!' balances remarkably heavy, intensely rhythmic blues-rock anthems like 'Mississippi Queen' with wonderfully melodic, deeply passionate acoustic interludes and swirling psychedelic grit.
