Album Notes & Community Reviews
Refining the colossal, Leslie West-driven proto-metal weight of their debut into wonderfully melodic, highly expansive riffage, Mountain delivered an absolute hard-rock titan. 'Nantucket Sleighride' is incredibly heavy and fiercely energetic, balancing deeply passionate, surprisingly tender blues-rock ballads with brilliantly playful, rhythmically intense heavy psych.
