Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to reintroduce the legendary bluesman to a younger, countercultural audience, Marshall Chess surrounded Muddy Waters with a barrage of fuzz-pedals and wah-wah effects. Though controversial at the time, 'Electric Mud' is wonderfully heavy and fiercely rhythmic, forcing intensely passionate Chicago blues through deeply psychedelic, raw, and highly energetic acid-rock jamming.
