Self-produced by the band, 'Will of the People' was conceived as a 'greatest hits' album composed entirely of new material, blending various styles from their past. The album is a response to the growing uncertainty and unrest in the world, touching upon glam rock, industrial, heavy metal, and synth-pop. Created partly in reaction to their label's request for a traditional compilation, it instead channels their diverse influences into a satirical, dystopian-themed narrative.
