Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed by drummer Jerome Brailey following a highly publicized financial dispute and exit from Parliament-Funkadelic, 'Mutiny on the Mamaship' serves as a fierce, deeply grooving declaration of independence. The record utilizes a blistering array of heavy basslines, psychedelic guitar leads, and layered group vocals that directly rival the output of his former employer. It remains a legendary, rebellious chapter in the sprawling P-Funk mythology.
