Predating much of the formal post-punk movement, Indiana's MX-80 Sound delivered an incredibly bizarre, wildly dissonant slab of heavy art-punk. 'Hard Attack' violently collides Bruce Anderson's frantic, aggressive noise-rock guitar heroics with Rich Stim's deeply sarcastic, intensely manic vocal delivery, resulting in a wonderfully quirky, highly anxious avant-garde barrage.
