m b v

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving twenty-two years after 'Loveless', 'm b v' is a startling return that somehow meets impossible expectations while pushing the band's sound into new, abstract territories. The album retains the signature glide guitar textures but incorporates dryer drums and organ-like synthesis, creating a soundscape that is both familiar and disorientingly new. It stands as a testament to Kevin Shields' perfectionism, offering a dense, hypnotic listening experience that feels out of time.
