Album Notes & Community Reviews
The British doom metal pioneers largely abandon harsh death growls on this release, opting for Aaron Stainthorpe's theatrical, melancholic clean singing. The guitars maintain their crushing, funereal weight, but the overall atmosphere leans heavily into romanticized gothic tragedy.
