Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating over two decades as pillars of British extreme music, the Yorkshire doom metal titans deliver one of their most starkly traditional efforts in years. The record prominently features the return of sweeping violin melodies, contrasting beautifully against agonizingly slow, detuned guitar riffs and Aaron Stainthorpe's theatrical vocal sorrow. It is a masterclass in gothic melancholy, completely devoid of contemporary stylistic concessions.
