For Lies I Sire

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reintroducing the violin to their bleak sonic arsenal for the first time in over a decade, the British doom metal veterans craft a suffocatingly melancholic and romantic atmosphere. The departure of longtime drummer Rick Miah brought new rhythm dynamics, supporting Aaron Stainthorpe's signature poetic, sorrowful vocal delivery. The release reaffirmed their status as foundational pillars of the gothic death-doom subgenre.
