Album Notes & Community Reviews

Amalie Bruun's latest project as Myrkur navigates the complex emotional terrain of motherhood and personal transformation, blending ethereal wave textures with her established post-metal foundations. The album largely pivots away from aggressive black metal, favoring sweeping cinematic arrangements and cold, atmospheric Nordic folk elements. It explores themes of connection between human biology and mythology through soaring vocal performances.
