Biography
Myrkur is the solo project of Danish musician Amalie Bruun, moving between black metal and Nordic folk. Bruun writes, sings and plays most instruments herself, from the blackened debut 'M' through the folk record 'Folkesange' to the pop-leaning 'Spine' in 2023, all on #Relapse Records#. Live she performs with hired musicians, but Myrkur remains a one-woman project, rooted in Scandinavian tradition and Bruun's vibrato-free singing.
