Album Notes & Community Reviews

As its Pink Floyd-referencing title implies, the fourth album by the Chicago extreme metal band radically integrates sprawling, 1970s psychedelic rock into a black metal framework. Driven by Blake Judd's harsh vocals, the record features extensive synthesizer usage, saxophone solos, and complex progressive structuring. It proved highly polarizing for purists but stands as a wildly ambitious milestone in experimental black metal.
