Album Notes & Community Reviews
Helmed by producer Ben Hillier, the English singer-songwriter's debut album is a profoundly intense exploration of mental health, inspired heavily by the suicides of two close friends. Grounded by her commanding, smoky vocal delivery and brooding piano arrangements, the record successfully navigates a dark intersection of alternative rock, gothic folk, and chamber pop.
