Conceived as an avant-garde soundtrack to an imagined underground film, John Zorn's collective steps away from their frantic grindcore fusions into deeply unsettling, atmospheric experimentation. The completely improvised pieces rely heavily on Yamantaka Eye's agonizing vocalizations and terrifying stretches of dark ambient dread.
