Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kanwulf constructs a deeply monotonous and funereal experience by utilizing incredibly repetitive, slow-moving tremolo riffs and agonizing vocal wails. The lo-fi production emphasizes a thick, hypnotic wall of distorted sound designed to induce states of profound melancholy and isolation. It is highly regarded as a cornerstone release for the depressive and atmospheric black metal subgenres.
