Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Chicago singer and pianist's second album leads with 'Can't Stop the Rain', its rolling piano figure setting the record's New Orleans-inflected soul in motion. Francis's voice and keyboards stay at the center of spare arrangements, the songs written in a period of recovery and plain-spoken gratitude.
