Operating firmly outside the established Scandinavian black metal parameters, the Greek duo notably composed this incredibly dense masterpiece using two heavily distorted bass guitars and absolutely no rhythm guitars. The remarkably aggressive, highly orchestral recording frequently integrates classical interludes, haunting saxophones, and deeply occult, vampiric lyricism. The highly unique instrumentation firmly established them as one of the most innovative, essential pillars of the Hellenic extreme metal scene.
