Recorded shortly after the death of longtime producer David Briggs, the sessions carry a profoundly loose, sprawling, and deeply sentimental atmosphere. The trio of opening tracks alone span nearly thirty minutes, characterized by extended, repetitive guitar jamming and rough, unpolished takes. It serves as a rugged, meditative reflection on aging and loss, deeply entrenched in the band's classic noise-rock dynamic.
