Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his final album for Geffen Records, 'Life' captures Neil Young awkwardly blending the raw power of Crazy Horse with extremely polished, synth-heavy 80s production techniques. The record balances highly political, conscious rock anthems about global conflict with surprisingly sentimental, atmospheric synth-rock ballads. It remains an eclectic, historically fascinating document of his heavily experimental decade.
