Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seeking to capture their frenetic live energy, the British expats recorded this double album predominantly live in the studio, emphasizing extended, hard-rocking improvisation. Strongly championed by Elton John upon its release, the project presented a noticeably looser, heavier alternative to the meticulously crafted concept albums of their discography.
