Album Notes & Community Reviews
His first solo LP arrived when he was fifty-eight, after four decades in which singers such as Cyro Monteiro, Elizeth Cardoso and Nara Le茫o had recorded his songs while he worked as a military policeman in Rio de Janeiro. With musical direction by the flutist Altamiro Carrilho, he sings his own catalogue, including the partnerships with Guilherme de Brito that produced 'A Flor e o Espinho' and 'Folhas Secas'.
