'脡ons' is a colossal triple-album that fuses the crushing weight of drone metal with the improvisational chaos of avant-garde jazz and psychedelic rock. The Belgian collective constructs a dense, ritualistic soundscape built upon foundational baritone saxophone, dual drummers, layered percussion, and sitar, punctuated by guttural chants and shrieks in a constructed language. The sprawling two-hour suite is a concept album narrating a speculative evolution of Earth beyond the age of humans, blending hypnotic, repetitive compositions with wild, freely expressive performance to create a deeply immersive and challenging sonic journey.
