An Undying Love for a Burning World

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Neurosis's first studio offering in a decade, "An Undying Love for a Burning World" finds the post-metal progenitors refining their elemental fury into a work of harrowing, paradoxical beauty. The album's monolithic compositions move with geological patience, building from desolate, atmospheric passages into cataclysmic crescendos of tectonic weight. The unvarnished production captures every ounce of visceral impact, from the ritualistic percussion to the dual-vocalist onslaught that sounds less like a performance and more like a desperate exorcism. It is a sonically suffocating yet deeply cathartic meditation on endurance within apocalypse.
