Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their transition to a major label, this sophomore effort crystalizes the group's fiercely independent, politically charged brand of post-punk. 'No Rest for the Wicked' is driven by heavily prominent, melodic basslines, tribal drumming, and Justin Sullivan's impassioned, venomous critiques of Thatcherite Britain. The release solidified their incredibly devoted cult following while navigating a more expansive, powerful studio production.
