Biography
New Model Army is an English post-punk and folk rock band formed in Bradford in 1980, led throughout by singer and songwriter Justin Sullivan. Rising from the independent charts with 'Vengeance' in 1984, the band mixed punk urgency with folk and soul on albums such as 'No Rest for the Wicked', 'The Ghost of Cain' and 'Thunder and Consolation'. Four decades on, Sullivan, keyboardist and guitarist Dean White, drummer Michael Dean and bassist Ceri Monger continue to record and tour, most recently with 'Unbroken' in 2024.
