Album Notes & Community Reviews

New Model Army significantly honed their driving, politically furious post-punk on 'The Ghost of Cain', incorporating acoustic folk-rock textures to back their working-class anthems. Justin Sullivan鈥檚 highly impassioned, angry vocals deliver scathing critiques of Thatcherite social policies and economic decay. The record is a dark, fiercely energetic, and profoundly conscious milestone of British protest music.
