The debut album by Nightmares on Wax was recorded and produced by George Evelyn alone from demo tapes dating to the late 1980s, and it remains the act's only album made as a group before it became his solo vehicle. It followed the singles 'Dextrous' and 'Aftermath', the latter a defining record of the Yorkshire bleep style.
