Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signaling a major turning point for the Finnish titans, the record marks the debut of bassist and co-vocalist Marco Hietala, whose gritty delivery provides a stark foil to Tarja Turunen's operatic soprano. It is also their first release to utilize a full live orchestra, elevating their epic power metal to cinematic new heights.
