Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived explicitly to accompany a fantasy film of the same name, the seventh studio album from the Finnish symphonic metal titans is their most theatrical work yet. Tuomas Holopainen's wildly ambitious songwriting bridges heavy power metal with massive choral arrangements and whimsical Celtic folk interludes.
