The acclaimed German composer offers an incredibly intimate, deeply soothing collection of solo piano recordings captured in stark minimalism. Heavily leaning into the delicate phrasing of impressionism and ambient-adjacent post-classical structures, the purely instrumental record feels overwhelmingly calm and slightly melancholic. It is a breathtakingly ethereal, meditative sanctuary of acoustic beauty.
