Dontay's Inferno

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging rapidly from the New York underground, Niontay's debut project merges the hazy, sample-driven aesthetics of modern drumless hip-hop with the chaotic pacing of the Detroit rap sound. 'Dontay's Inferno' heavily utilizes sped-up soul samples and ethereal synthesizer loops to score his uniquely mumbled, off-kilter vocal deliveries. The album functions as a highly surreal, deeply hypnotic twist on contemporary street rap.
