Album Notes & Community Reviews
The British EBM veterans heavily incorporate distorted guitars and live drum kits, finalizing their massive transition into alternative rock territory. 'Big Hit' largely abandons the minimalist synthesizer sequences of their early work, aiming for a much broader, highly aggressive stadium-rock aesthetic reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails. It ultimately served as their final studio album before entering a decade-long hiatus.
