Album Notes & Community Reviews

Facing the immense pressure of following up the blockbuster 'Tragic Kingdom', the California band delivered a significantly darker, deeply introspective, and heavily new wave-influenced record. Gwen Stefani's lyricism focuses intensely on the anxieties of aging, romance, and artistic identity, creating a challenging but highly rewarding alternative pop album.
