Gudsforladt

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from the incredibly reclusive Danish musician essentially codified his signature blend of agonizingly slow, funereal pacing and the raw ferocity of black metal. 'Gudsforladt' is a profoundly bleak, depressive masterpiece, utilizing haunting dark ambient textures to evoke a terrifyingly cold, desolate, and nocturnal atmosphere.
