Album Notes & Community Reviews
Setting remarkably poetic German-language lyrics against sweeping, heavily orchestrated instrumental landscapes, Novalis cemented their reputation as a premier German symphonic prog band. 'Sommerabend' is wonderfully warm and intensely atmospheric, utilizing highly complex, beautifully soaring synthesizer suites to evoke a profoundly soothing, deeply romantic sense of summer nature.
