Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by trumpeter Ian Carr, British jazz-rock ensemble Nucleus presented a groove-oriented, highly rhythmic outing with 'Snakehips Etcetera'. The record shifts away from their earlier avant-garde tendencies, embracing energetic funk backbeats and playful brass arrangements while remaining anchored in virtuosic jazz fusion.
