Album Notes & Community Reviews

German extreme metal outfit Obscura introduced their highly complex, philosophical approach to heavy music with their debut album, 'Retribution'. Driven fiercely by Steffen Kummerer's fretboard acrobatics, the record balances aggressively dense death metal brutality with incredibly precise, technical melodicism.
