Album Notes & Community Reviews

Championed extensively by Oasis's Noel Gallagher and Modfather Paul Weller, the Birmingham quartet delivered a massive, retro-tinged cornerstone of the Britpop era. The production leans incredibly heavy into classic 1960s British rhythm and blues, characterized by prominent Hammond organs and soaring, soulful guitar solos. It was a staggering commercial success, cementing their status as the premier traditionalist rock act of the UK boom.
