Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kevin Barnes continues his prolific, kaleidoscope reign over modern psychedelic pop, delivering a deeply surreal and rhythmically complex collection of art-pop abstractions. Integrating heavily synthesized funktronica grooves, the lyricism remains intensely introspective, playfully sexual, and characteristically neurotic. 'Lady on the Cusp' is a densely layered, beautifully chaotic testament to the band's enduring eccentricities.
