Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kevin Barnes retreated to San Francisco to record this album on a 24-track tape machine with a mostly new backing band. The shift resulted in a raw, 60s-indebted psychedelic folk and country-rock sound, moving away from the dense electronic pop of their preceding era.
