Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kevin Barnes channels a period of extreme emotional volatility into his band's most abrasive and structurally chaotic release to date. While retaining lush pop orchestration, the album spirals frequently into intense dissonance, angry misanthropy, and disorienting experimental sound collages.
