Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before their massive mainstream crossover, the legendary Dayton ensemble released this incredibly tight, deeply sensual funk masterpiece. The album is defined by its unconventional, eccentric grooves, prominent use of early synthesizers, and Junie Morrison's highly idiosyncratic vocal and keyboard arrangements. It perfectly captures the gritty, avant-garde edge of their early Westbound Records period before transitioning to polished disco-funk.
