Choke Enough

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On her debut studio album 'Choke Enough', French musician and producer Oklou continues her primary collaboration with Casey MQ to construct a more intense and less ethereal sound than her previous work, grounding her atmospheric pop in sharper production. The album's songwriting navigates a self-described "quest of meaning" and a sense of a decentered self, featuring an irregular and emotionally complex landscape. Featuring appearances from Bladee and Underscores, the record solidifies Oklou's transition from the mixtape format to a full-length studio statement.
