Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating at the delicate intersection of electroacoustic sound design and post-minimalist composition, this piece relies on sparse, highly manipulated acoustic elements. The Chicago-based composer crafts an incredibly soothing, deeply melancholic atmosphere that rewards focused, meditative listening. 'The Mountains Pass' is a masterclass in utilizing profound silence and subtle, textural drones.
