Album Notes & Community Reviews
Founded by Boredoms drummer Yoshimi P-We, the Japanese all-female quartet weaves a frantic, highly rhythmic tapestry of tribal percussion, chanted vocals, and angular guitar riffs. The album's title combines the Spanish word for 'harmonic' with the Swahili word for 'air', reflecting the project's wildly eclectic, globalist approach to avant-garde rock. The music effortlessly shifts between chaotic noise and tight, danceable grooves.
