Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Italian extreme metal ensemble delivers a sprawling, deeply atmospheric masterpiece heavily entrenched in occult mythology. 'The Black Opera: Symphoniae mysteriorum in laudem tenebrarum' pairs Cadaveria's terrifyingly harsh vocal shrieks with grand, gothic keyboard orchestrations and traditional doom-laden guitar riffs. It stands as a pinnacle release within the dark, theatrical European symphonic black metal movement.
