Album Notes & Community Reviews

Opeth's ambitious debut, 'Orchid', introduced their signature, highly complex fusion of extreme metal and acoustic beauty. The band stretches progressive song structures across long runtimes, weaving melodic death metal and somber dark folk into an incredibly atmospheric, autumnal journey.
