Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following massive commercial success, OMD released this profoundly experimental, highly conceptual synth-pop record exploring Cold War paranoia and technological alienation. 'Dazzle Ships' heavily incorporates musique concr猫te tape loops, shortwave radio broadcasts, and industrial sampling alongside intensely melancholic pop melodies. The album is a cold, avant-garde masterpiece that boldly sacrificed immediate pop stardom for lasting artistic innovation.
