Featuring substantial contributions from fellow avant-garde heavyweights such as Joe Talia and Eyvind Kang, the Australian experimentalist expands his signature guitar-drone palette. The four-part album famously climaxes with a massive, 33-minute epic covering a classic track from The Ace of Cups, transforming 1960s psych-rock into a propulsive, krautrock-inspired rhythmic trance. It effectively balances pristine acoustic minimalism with overwhelming electric volume.
